Draslefamily Origins

So, ages ago Falcom put out Dragon Slayer IV (subtitle Drasle Family), a dungeon crawler/platformer where you play as the entire Worzen family: Dad Xemn, Mom Maia/Meyna, Son Royas/Roas, and Daughter Lyll.

And their pet dog/monster Pochi too, but I digress.

It came out in the west as Legacy of the Wizard, and while I guess I should've called this picture that since the Wizard is currently carrying one of her 'Legacies', I didn't. Yeah.

For something I've been wanting to do since I was like 8, I'm pretty unhappy with how this all came out! Well, except maybe for Xemn there, who is depicted accurately to the box art and other related materials. Meaning, of course, that Meyna is fantastically skilled at yoga or something.

Well, if anything, the game's worth it for the music (it's falcom, of course), so here's the mother's theme:
