This may very well be the closest I've ever gotten to getting Asuka's head right. :B

Anyway there's been some demand for NGE stuff lately, and while this isn't going to satisfy, like, half of those peeps, it's still a thing!

At any rate, nothing quite as fun as stumbling around the internet looking for reference images and constantly running into depressing quotes from the character you're drawing cheesecake of that just remind you how sad everything is. D:

I'm just sayin' imagine how much WORSE she'd be if she didn't have at least one friend in Hikari. D:

Happy Asuka is best Asuka. :meow:

This is probably my favorite NGE related image featuring Asuka you've done, which is really saying something since I love all the NGE stuff you do. This one particularly stands out because, as you said, it is the best attempt of yours at Asuka's head. This is the first piece of yours that I feel really captures Asuka's essence, if you get what I mean. Your other work, while still cute, lacked a certain something when it came to her head, but you really nailed it on the head (hurr hurr) this time.

The only critiquing I can offer is to work a bit at your hand/foot posing so that they look more natural/real. Find a few stock images of hands and feet and study them. Or, if you'd like, I could make a few renders of different poses of hands and feet to study.

Overall, you did a great job on this. Keep up the great work.

This does look good. Nice work.
At first glance something seems off about her neck however. Think it might be a bit too skinny but then again it is hardly noticeable unless you are looking. Other than that it looks good.

I'm sure there's some alternate version of Evangelion out there where everyone's life doesn't suck so hard.

Anyway, great picture. Her pose and proportions look great, and the added detail really sets the scene. Her expression is nicely done as well.

Less that it's lighter and more that the characters are more emotionally stable. The events in Rebuild are just as bad, if not worse than the series and EoE.
